A lot of our customers use the first outing of their motorhome or caravan as a chance to get better acquainted with their vehicles following their in depth handover carried out by our specialists on collection day. The first trip is an opportunity to ‘find a home’ for all those camping essentials, and then re-arrange as needed!
Marquis Northants customers Mr & Mrs Wilson got in contact to share details of their first successful trip away in their Autocruise Accent Campervan back in February and you can read their story below...
We love reading about our customers adventures so please feel free to send us photos of your latest trips and tell us your story - click here to send us your story!
You said that you would be interested to hear how we got on when we made our first trip with the campervan. We have just spent 2 nights away at the Ferry Meadows Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Peterborough. This is the site we often use for the "start of season" or new unit test.
All proved reasonably successful though, inevitably, we came back with a list of things to sort or rearrange (mostly to do with how we store things).
The heating proved good enough for what was quite a chilly couple of nights. I drove it back (first for me as our couple of days out so far have been driven by Mervyn).
We didn't take it off site this time as we just wanted to go for a couple of walks in the area. We will be more adventurous on the next few trips.
